I’m very, very ready for the fight against Pacquiao: Clottey

Last Tuesday that was March 9 the opponent of Pacquiao who is the mild-mannered Clottey accidentally met Freddie Roach the coach of Manny “PACMAN” Pacquiao, they were warmly greeted to each other and they posed for pictures.

Clottey said in an interview of ABS-CBN that he is grateful that he is given a chance to fight the people champs of the Philippines Manny “PACMAN” Pacquiao who is the current (WBO) World Boxing Organization welterweight champion.

He admit that he admires Pacquiao but because we’re in a business I will going to fight Manny Pacquiao as he meet me on the line.

Although he has a fewer fans, he is considered an underdog compared to Pacquiao this wouldn’t bother him at all.

Clottey says that I have everything to stop Paquiao speed. I’m very, very ready for our upcoming fight.

He added that Pacquiao would have to work very hard to beat me. It’s not going to be easy because I know how to adjust myself and im in good shape so it’s not going to be easy at all.

Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin’s relationship is improving

The “Showbiz News Ngayon” caught Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin get together after their separation on the first death anniversary get-together of Master Rapper Francis Magalona. This was their first ever public appearance.

Luis was so happy because they were out together in full function. Angel explained to SNN that this is the first time that we are out together honestly.

Both of them feel better about the development of their relationship.

Luis often drops on Angel‘s house and sends her foods and flowers. He is serious to win back Angel’s trust and confidence.

Angel was surprised upon knowing that Luis got the trophy for best supporting actor on the recent Gawad Tanglaw Award.

Roach wants “PACMAN” to retire early next year

The trainer of Manny Pacquiao who is Freddie Roach told Michael Leahy in an interview that he wanted “PACMAN” to end his Boxing Storied Career with health intact and not what he is suffering from now which is the Parkinson’s disease.

Roach sees that the next fight of Pacquiao would be the most ballyhooed, most profitable, most contentious fight in the boxing history. He is talking to the gifted, flighty and undefeated Floyd Mayweather with whom negotiations of the two was once cancelled. This fight could bring each fighter $30 million, Mr. Leahy wrote.

Freddie Roach said that he like Pacquiao to retire as a fighter after the fight of Floyd Mayweather. Roach wants Pacquiao also to be healthy, wealthy and happy he doesn’t want him to experience the medication that he experienced. Roach might also retire after this fight because as he said that he has been doing this for a long time.

Roach also added that, “With everything else Manny has earned, that should be enough for him.”

Pacquiao filed a defamation suit against the fighter Mayweather and his promoter, Golden Boy Productions because of the words that Mayweather spoken to public that Pacquiao using steroids. This is a very shameful in Pacquiao’s part.

Manny says Leahy like, I will knock Mayweather out, and I’ll crush him so that he could no longer talk like that to another fighter.

Pacquiao wants the fight between them happen, after their last failed negotiations. Manny says to Roach that no matter the posters says Pacquiao-Mayweather or Mayweather-Pacquiao.

Arnel Pineda Sings the National Anthem - Pacquiao vs. Clottey Fight 

The new Filipino vocalist of the popular rock band “Journey” Arnel Pineda, will be the one to sing the Philippine anthem in this much-awaiting fight between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Ghanaian Joshua “The Grand Master” Clottey. This fight will be on March 13 and will be held at the Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas. March 14 here in Manila, Philippines.

This coming Thursday (March 11) will be my flight to Dallas, said Arnel in an exclusive interview with ABS-CBNNews.com. Arnel was also confirmed in this interview that he will be the one to sing the national anthem of the Philippines “Lupang Hinirang” in this incoming fight of our very own “PACMAN”.

Arnel added that he was very happy because this will now be happen; actually Manny invited me three times already but because of the hectic schedule as a new Journey’s vocalist I was not able to sing those previous fights of Pacquiao.

Arnel Pineda was also one of the guests who present during “PACMAN’s” birthday held in General Santos City last December.

Pineda was set to fly back to US this coming April for the recording of their latest album of Journey. In addition Pineda is currently part of ABS-CBN’s noontime weekly variety show “ASAP XV”.
