Brooklyn’s Finest 2010 Movie Trailer

Brooklyn’s Finest is an upcoming American crime film starring Richard Gere, Don Cheadle, Ethan Hawke, and Wesley Snipes. It is directed by Antoine Fuqua, and written by Michael C. Martin, a one-time subway flagger from East New York. It was the first film to sell at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival for a sales price of “under 5 million dollars.” The film is scheduled for release on March 5, 2010.

Summary:

In the course of one chaotic week, the lives of three conflicted New York City police officers are dramatically transformed by their involvement in a massive drug operation.

Burned-out veteran Eddie Dugan (Richard Gere) is just one week away from his pension and a fishing cabin in Connecticut. Narcotics officer Sal Procida (Ethan Hawke) has discovered there is no line he will not cross to provide a better life for his long-suffering wife and seven children. And Clarence “Tango” Butler (Don Cheadle) has been undercover so long his loyalties have started to shift from his fellow police officers to his prison buddy Caz (Wesley Snipes), one of Brooklyn’s most infamous drug dealers. With personal and work pressures bearing down on them, each man faces daily tests of judgment and honor in one of the world’s most difficult jobs.

When the NYPD’s Operation Clean Up targets the notoriously drug-ridden BK housing project, all three officers find themselves swept away by the violence and corruption of Brooklyn’s gritty 65th Precinct and its most treacherous criminals. During seven fateful days, Eddie, Sal and Tango find themselves hurtling inextricably toward the same fatal crime scene and a shattering collision with destiny.

Miss You Like Crazy Movie Trailer (2010)

Miss You Like Crazy Movie Trailer (2010)

KAPAMILYA stars John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo will rekindle their chemistry on the big screen this February.

Under the direction of box office director Cathy Garcia-Molina, the celebrated on-screen couple reunites in the post-Valentine offering of Star Cinema, “Miss You Like Crazy.”

John Lloyd will play the role of Allan, a serious type of guy who found himself emotionally torn between his long time girlfriend and a woman he just met but had an extraordinary connection with.

Bea meanwhile will breathe life to the character of Mia, a Filipina worker in Malaysia who met her perfect man at the most imperfect time.

According to Molina, many can relate to the story of “Miss You Like Crazy” because the plot is happening or had happen at one point in everyone’s life.

The last movie project of John Lloyd and Bea was three years ago in “One More Chance.”

Their love team started in 2002 in ABS-CBN’s teleserye “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay” followed by “Saan Ka Man Naroroon Books 1 and 2″ and “I Love Betty La Fea.” They also did movies “Close To You” and “Now That I Have You”

The two said they missed working with each other especially that they were paired to other good actors before working for this new movie.

“Personally na-miss ko talagang katrabaho tong si John Lloyd, lalo na sa big screen kasi angtagal eh, three years yun eh,” Bea said. “Ang sarap ulit makatrabaho sya kasi ang dami mong matututunan sa kaya and ang daming new experience na napulot ko sa paggawa namin ng Miss You Like Crazy.”

For his part, John Lloyd said he missed all the scenes they shared behind the camera more than ever. He added that the closeness is still there and they were able to enjoy more the reunion because they already grow individually.

“I’ve seen Bea mature so well, at talagang humanga nanaman ako,” he said.

When asked on why they were always linked to other names in the showbizness and not to each other, the two truthfully said that they are not trying to do a make-believe loveteam.

“What you see is what you get. Kahit anong paliwanag na gawin namin, when love happens in two people, wala na tayong magagawa. In our case, di palang sya o di sya mangyayari and hindi namin idi-deny yun,” John Lloyd said.

Bea added that they are not pushing anything to happen and they just take each others company day by day.

“Maraming bagay lang po talaga ang hindi dapat ipilit at hindi naipipilit. Sa amin po hindi namin kailangan ipipilit ang isang bagay na ayaw talagang mangyari,” she said.

John Lloyd then quickly equipped: “Bea is very attractive, very smart and very domesticated, she’s the kind of woman every man will dream.”

Though they are not together romantically speaking, the two still promises a must-see movie for all.

“This is not the usual movie where boy meets girl. In this movie, they have different trials that are not seen physically. It’s a very good movie,” Bea said.

Rising star Maricar Reyes is included in the movie while Eric Santos sung the theme song and 90’s hit “Miss You Like Crazy.“
